Job summary

Cajun Compliance Consultants LLC in Turney, MO is seeking a Bilingual HSE professional to support on-site safety, health, and environmental activities at a client location. You will conduct safety inspections, monitor hazards, prepare documentation, deliver toolbox talks in English and another language, and collaborate with site leadership to drive compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles applied on active job sites.
• Knowledge of Environmental Awareness practices and Occupational Health standards in industrial/construction contexts.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training on workplace safety, hazard recognition, and regulatory compliance.
• Bilingual fluency in English and another workforce language (e.g., Spanish) for diverse teams.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations; safety certifications such as OSHA 30 or HAZWOPER are beneficial.
• Strong observational, documentation, and reporting skills with attention to procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in varying environmental conditions and build trust with workers and supervisors.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional safety-focused training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and monitor work areas for hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; maintain safety documentation and daily logs.
• Prepare incident reports and communication of findings to site leadership.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks in English and another language.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crews to address safety concerns and promote accountability.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions as needed.
