Job summary

FreshDirect is seeking an HR Business Partner to support our 24/7 Bronx manufacturing and distribution facility. You will advise frontline managers and hourly employees across operations, leading employee relations, compliance, engagement, and performance management with Spanish fluency essential.

Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition to manage onboarding, transfers, leave, and terminations while driving HR process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/related field required.
• 3–5 years HRBP experience in manufacturing/plant/warehouse.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Familiarity with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR point of contact for Plant Operations and hourly staff across shifts.
• Resolve employee relations issues and coach performance per policies.
• Promote an inclusive environment and balance compliance with operations.
• Guide on HR policies, investigations, and policy-adherence.
• Collaborate with Safety/EHS on incident reporting and return-to-work.
• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition on lifecycle activities.
• Coach plant managers on people management and labor practices.
• Identify process improvements to HR operations and employee experience.
• Support staffing with recruiters and participate in engagement initiatives.
