The Addison Group in Addison, IL is seeking an HR Generalist who is bilingual in English and Spanish to support a 500‑employee workforce. This direct-hire, in‑office role focuses on employee relations, leaves administration, compliance and daily HR operations.

You will partner with HR leadership and managers, handle confidential matters, and advise on disciplinary actions, benefits questions, and payroll support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience with hands-on employee relations and leave administration.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation processes.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Comfortable advising managers on employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and next steps.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Guide employees and managers on HR policies and workplace concerns.
• Handle employee relations matters including investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, disability) and workers' comp.
• Answer benefits, payroll, and HR policy questions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Support payroll processing, timecard review, and employee changes.
• Assist with performance management and development processes.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Assist unemployment claims and workplace safety initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports on attendance, hires, staffing, turnover.
• Support HR projects and administrative tasks.
