Michael Page seeks a Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Generalist to support a 150-employee manufacturing operation in Clifton, NJ. The role partners with the HR Director to manage recruiting, payroll, benefits, compliance, and safety for hourly staff across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR experience across multiple disciplines.
• Experience supporting hourly workers in manufacturing or distribution.
• Hands-on payroll administration, Paycom preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits, recruiting, compliance.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing, warehouse and production roles.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, prepare offers, onboarding and orientation.
• Process weekly payroll accurately using Paycom.
• Administer medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits programs.
• Support leave, accommodations and employee lifecycle transactions.
• Serve as primary contact for HR inquiries from employees and managers.
• Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance concerns, and workplace issues.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain HRIS records and ensure data accuracy.
• Support OSHA reporting, workers' compensation and safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
