Karman Space and Defense is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruitment, employee relations, benefits, payroll administration, compliance, and workers' compensation. This full-time role is based in Brea, CA and requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency and knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

The HRIS and ADP systems will be used daily to manage HR processes. The position emphasizes SOX compliance, timekeeping, and policy updates, with opportunities to lead wellness programs

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Three to five years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Proficiency with ADP, HRIS, and talent management systems.

Aufgaben

• Addresses employee concerns, facilitates conflict resolution, and conducts counseling sessions.
• Supports managers through performance management processes.
• Administers health and welfare benefit programs, responds to inquiries, audits invoices, and coordinates open enrollment.
• Develops and leads the employee wellness program.
• Supports weekly payroll activities, including time and attendance reporting and record maintenance.
• Maintains SOX compliance documentation related to timekeeping, hiring, and terminations.
• Administers ADA, FMLA, and workers' compensation matters, including claims and return-to-work.
• Maintains confidential employee records and assists with HR policy updates.
• Supports recruitment, hiring, and termination activities, including HRIS updates and paperwork.
• Coordinates employee events and communications related to policies and initiatives.
