Job summary

Karman Space and Defense is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role partners with the HR Director and managers to handle employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, training, and regulatory compliance.

You will maintain HRIS data, ensure accurate records, and help implement HR processes aligned with company policies and customer requirements across production and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Director and leadership to support workforce needs.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training requirements.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Administer employee leave processes including FMLA and ADA.
• Assist with benefits, payroll, and training records.
