Job summary

Greater Omaha Packing Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to provide hands-on HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a split shift (10 am to 7 pm).

You will handle employee relations, investigations, recruiting, retention initiatives, performance management, policy administration, and day-to-day HR needs, reporting to the HR Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years HR experience, including employee relations.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or French.

Responsibilities

• Administer and apply company HR policies and procedures.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to supervisors and managers.
• Conduct workplace investigations and document findings.
• Partner with management on retention initiatives and programs.
• Plan and execute employee engagement activities and events.
• Support recruiting activities including sourcing and interviews.
• Build relationships across shifts and departments as HR resource.
• Respond to unemployment claims and assist with hearings.
• Maintain confidential HR records and documentation.
• Assist with HR reporting to identify trends.
• Provide HR support across multiple shifts and departments.
