Job summary

Camaco LLC in Columbus, Nebraska, is seeking a bilingual Senior HR Generalist to support a manufacturing workforce of 700+ employees. You will provide hands-on HR services across benefits, leave administration, employee relations, and day-to-day operations, partnering with hourly staff, supervisors, and leaders.

Fluency in Spanish and English is required to communicate HR information clearly across shifts. Experience with HR systems (Workday preferred) and a track record of managing confidential

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Generalist or in a comparable HR role.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, including the ability to communicate HR information clearly in both languages.
• Experience supporting hourly employees in manufacturing or high-volume environments.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and leave processes, including FMLA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for hourly employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Support administration of employee benefits, including enrollment and questions.
• Process and track FMLA and other leave requests and communicate with employees and leaders.
• Support employee relations by listening to concerns and documenting issues.
• Advise supervisors on HR policies, procedures, attendance, performance, and practices.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, changes, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in Workday and other HR systems.
• Support recruiting and retention efforts for hourly manufacturing positions.
• Help ensure HR practices and records align with company policies and requirements.
• Prepare HR reports and support audits, initiatives, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate HR information clearly in both Spanish and English.
• Build trust with employees and leaders across shifts and departments.
