Job summary

Greater Omaha Packing Co. is seeking an experienced bilingual Human Resources Generalist to provide hands-on HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a split shift (10 am to 7 pm).

Responsibilities include employee relations, investigations, recruiting, retention initiatives, performance management, policy administration, and other day-to-day HR needs, with reporting to the HR Manager. Fluency in English and Spanish or French is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years HR experience including employee relations.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or French.
• Knowledge of recruiting practices and employment laws (federal, state, local).
• Ability to conduct workplace investigations with confidentiality and objectivity.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer policies and HR procedures consistently.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to supervisors on employee relations and performance matters.
• Conduct workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend actions.
• Partner with management on retention initiatives and employee engagement.
• Plan and support recruitment activities, including interviews and events.
• Maintain confidential HR records and support reporting and analysis.
