Job summary

Camaco in Columbus, Nebraska is seeking a bilingual Senior HR Generalist to support a 700+ employee manufacturing workforce. The role focuses on hourly staff and covers benefits, leave administration, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations.

You will partner with employees, supervisors, and leaders to deliver confidential HR services, ensure policy alignment, onboarding, and accurate records in Workday. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Generalist or in a related HR role.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with clear HR communication.
• Experience supporting hourly employees in manufacturing or high-volume environments.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and FMLA processes.
• Strong employee-relations, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain records.
• Proficiency with HR systems; Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for hourly employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Administer benefits enrollment and respond to employee questions.
• Process FMLA and leave requests and maintain documentation.
• Support employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
• Advise supervisors on HR policies, attendance, and performance.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, changes, and offboarding.
• Maintain confidential employee records in HR systems.
• Support recruiting and retention for hourly manufacturing roles.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with audits.
