Job summary

La Clínica del Pueblo in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support recruiting, benefits, compensation, training, and compliance. The role reports to the HR Manager and operates in a hybrid environment (4 days in the office, 1 remote).

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in HR, full-cycle recruitment experience, and fluency in English and Spanish. ADP HRIS and Office 365 proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferred in human resources or related field and/or comparable relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in HR is strongly preferred.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, required.
• Previous recruitment and onboarding experience are highly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, ERISA, and other regulations is required.
• Experience with Full Cycle Recruitment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems ADP is required.
• Proficiency in Office 365 is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages performance evaluation and disciplinary actions in the HRIS system (ADP).
• Manages all benefits enrollments.
• Responds to questions on employee benefits.
• Helps & coordinates the open enrollment process.
• Administers & coordinates request worker’s comp and FMLA.
