Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an HR Generalist, bilingual in English and Spanish, to provide hands-on HR support across Central Texas. The role emphasizes employee relations, investigations, and advising leaders in a fast-paced, field-based environment across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of independent work, and experienced supporting a large hourly workforce across branch locations and job sites. Travel and onsite training are expected as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and corrective action.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws and compliance.
• Experience supporting hourly/craft/industrial workforce.
• Ability to manage a large employee population across multiple locations.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High integrity and discretion with confidential matters.
• Self-motivated and organized with limited supervision.
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency with HR systems and MS Office.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource across assigned locations and sites.
• Manage high-volume employee relations matters and investigations.
• Advise supervisors on next steps for employee relations and performance issues.
• Conduct thorough workplace investigations and provide recommendations.
• Build relationships through regular site visits to branches and job sites.
• Conduct onsite employee and management training on HR topics.
• Support performance management and reviews with managers.
• Monitor turnover and HR activity, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Apply policies and laws consistently with sound judgment.
• Utilize HR systems to manage employee data, reporting, and processes.
• Manage schedules across a dispersed workforce.
• Collaborate with the wider HR team on initiatives and compliance.
