BrandSafway is seeking an HR Generalist for the Central Texas region, providing hands-on HR support in a fast-paced, field-based environment with a strong focus on employee relations. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, and comfortable managing a large hourly workforce across multiple locations and job sites, with about 30% travel and mostly onsite work.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Experience supporting hourly, craft, industrial, construction, manufacturing, field services, or another operational workforce preferred.
• Ability to independently manage a large employee population across multiple locations.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate employee situations and recommend action.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• High integrity and discretion in handling confidential employee matters.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to prioritize with limited supervision.
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees, supervisors, and managers across assigned locations and sites.
• Manage a high volume of employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, performance issues, and corrective action.
• Advise supervisors on appropriate next steps related to employee relations, performance management, policies, and workplace concerns.
• Conduct thorough and objective workplace investigations and provide recommendations.
• Build relationships with operational leaders through regular site visits.
• Conduct onsite HR training on workplace culture, violence prevention, and related topics.
• Support performance management processes with managers to ensure consistency.
• Monitor workforce trends and partner with leaders to identify solutions.
• Apply policies and employment laws consistently with sound judgment.
• Utilize HR systems to manage employee information, documentation, and reporting.
• Manage schedules across a dispersed population; collaborate with the broader HR team.
