Job summary

MMI Industrial & Steel in Mesa, AZ seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations across California and Arizona. The role handles administrative duties, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and employee relations in a multi-site environment.

Onsite and remote support will be provided to the Mesa HR function. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), with experience in HR systems, compliance, and workforce support.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience in multi-site organizations.
• Knowledge of California and Arizona employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and employee records management.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and compliant employee records including I-9 and benefits.
• Manage HRIS data entry, reporting, and file maintenance.
• Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding activities.
• Administer benefits eligibility and enrollment processes.
• Support performance management and employee relations activities.
• Translate HR communications for Spanish-speaking employees as needed.
