Job summary

Yami is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support HR operations, employee relations, workforce planning, and people initiatives across our corporate office and fulfillment sites in Eastvale and Brea, CA.

The role partners with leaders and the HR team to manage onboarding, investigations, performance coaching, labor forecasting, and reporting while ensuring compliance with federal, state (CA) and local regulations. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on HR Generalist or related HR experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience supporting hourly employees in fast-paced operations.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws, employee relations, and HR compliance.
• Experience handling investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and workplace concerns.
• Experience with workforce planning, labor forecasting, staffing coordination, and HR reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with staffing agencies and managing workforce-related activities.
• Ability to commute to Eastvale and Brea, CA on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, records management, attendance, and lifecycle processes.
• Serve as an HR resource for policies, workplace concerns, and HR-related questions.
• Handle employee relations matters, investigations, conflicts, and disciplinary documentation.
• Provide guidance on performance management and coaching, applying policies consistently.
• Support engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives across teams.
• Forecast labor requirements with leadership and monitor staffing levels against plans.
• Coordinate with staffing agencies and manage high-volume recruitment activities.
• Assist with HR compliance, safety, leave administration, and reporting.
• Contribute to HR programs, process improvements, and employee development.
