Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Bilingual HR Coordinator in Tarboro, NC to support recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations in a manufacturing environment. The role is primarily HR with periodic accounting admin support and requires bilingual English/Spanish communication.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment, conduct onboarding, maintain files and HRIS, assist payroll, and help foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Previous HR experience in recruiting or HR administration.
• Experience onboarding, benefits, or payroll preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and office roles.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding paperwork.
• Serve as HR contact for policies, benefits, leave, and questions.
• Translate HR documents and train materials in English and Spanish.
• Maintain HRIS records and assist with payroll and timekeeping.
• Support benefits, workers' comp, and leave management.
• Assist with employee relations and engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with laws and prepare HR reports.
