Job summary

viaPhoton is seeking a dependable HR resource for our manufacturing team to handle compliance, culture, and frontline relationships. You’ll support payroll and benefits, lead investigations, and ensure OSHA safety compliance across the Naperville facility.

With 2+ years in HR roles and bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, you’ll collaborate with leaders on performance, leave programs, and training while delivering fair, consistent outcomes and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 2+ years in HRBP or employee relations in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience administering payroll and benefits.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, Workers’ Comp, ADA, and EEO.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations, including complaints, investigations, and corrective discipline with fair, consistent, legally compliant outcomes.
• Conduct exit interviews, process separations, and identify trends to inform retention strategies.
• Support open enrollment and benefits administration.
• Review and complete payroll runs with the support of finance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA and safety standards.
• Administer and support leave programs including FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and ADA accommodations.
• Partner with managers on 90-day reviews, performance management coaching, and documentation.
• Facilitate required training (harassment prevention, forklift certification) and serve as a bilingual floor contact.
