Job summary

Case Farms is seeking an HR Assistant - Bilingual (English/Spanish) for the Morganton plant on the third shift. This on-site role supports HR operations and employee services in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 1 year of HR/office experience, with proficiency in payroll systems and strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1 year of experience in Office/HR roles.
• Knowledge of office administration procedures and computer systems (Word, Excel, Ultipro, Kronos).
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written; edits/proofs work for spelling and grammar.
• Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interface at all levels.
• Strong planning and multitasking abilities.
• Problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee data and issues arriving at the HR office.
• Performs administrative functions of HR, including attendance, payroll, ID badges, etc.
• Delivers accurate and timely feedback to employees regarding inquiries.
• Prepares and processes employee documentation - assists with/prepares correspondence, prepares new employee files, processes mail.
• Maintains personnel records (hard copy, HRIS, and electronic); ensures information is current.
• Helps the HR Department coordinate and organize employee events throughout the year.
• Fosters company culture through contact with employees - intakes and routes issues to management.
• Routes phone calls to the appropriate parties.
