Job summary

WarHorse Gaming, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a Bi-Lingual Human Resources Assistant. The role provides essential HR support, serves as the first point of contact, and helps with recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.

The position is full-time with day shift, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualified candidates must be bilingual in Spanish, have at least two years of HR experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience as an HR assistant or coordinator.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HCMS, ATS, and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and team members at the HR office and answer inquiries.
• Maintain front counter, lobby areas, kiosks, and HR spaces to be clean and stocked.
• Manage employee records, data entry, reports, and supplies.
• Handle team member and vendor badges, gaming licenses, and renewals.
• Coordinate talent auditions, interviews, and new hire orientation.
• Assist with internal communication and compliance notices.
• Reserve training facilities and AV equipment.
• Support engagement, wellness, and retention events.
• Promote superior guest service in applicant interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality in HR matters.
