Job summary

El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) is a nonprofit organization serving the Latine community in the Portland area, focusing on housing, education, and wellness. The PSH Housing & Retention Specialist will help adults access RLRA housing vouchers and Permanent Supportive Housing in a collaborative effort with Home Forward and local partners.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural competence.
• Excellent communication skills, in both Spanish and English.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing placement and retention support to adults referred through the coordinated access process.
• Develop individualized housing plans and identify supportive services to promote stability.
• Assist adults with housing applications and required paperwork.
• Build and maintain relationships with resident services staff, property managers, and management companies.
• Provide ongoing support, including rent payments and connecting to necessary services.
• Maintain accurate documentation of participant interactions and services.
