El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) is hiring a PSH Housing & Retention Specialist to support adults in securing and retaining Permanent Supportive Housing through RLRA vouchers and collaboration with Home Forward.

The role emphasizes culturally specific services, case coordination, and partnership with local agencies to reduce homelessness while maintaining accurate documentation and strong community ties.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and bi-culturally competent.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with homeless Latinx/Hispanic and other BIPOC communities.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; data entry experience.
• Judgment and discretion with confidential matters.
• Organizational and priority-management skills; proactive and reliable.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team or independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing placement and retention support services to adults referred through the adult system coordinated access case conferencing process.
• Develop individualized housing plans and identify supportive services to promote housing stability.
• Assist adults with completing housing applications and other required paperwork.
• Build and maintain relationships with resident services staff, property managers, and management companies.
• Provide ongoing support including rent payments and connection to needed services.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all participant interactions and services.
• Attend weekly case meetings to review progress and coordinate with team members.
• Participate in trainings and meetings to maintain current knowledge on housing and homelessness issues.
• Adhere to agency policies and perform other duties as assigned.
