Job summary

Cornerstones is seeking an Employment Coordinator to support participants at the Embry Rucker Community Shelter in Reston, VA. You will administer the OSS employment program, conduct intakes and skills assessments, and provide job-readiness coaching, resume help, and interview training through the 30-hour curriculum and workshops.

You will collaborate with housing case managers and community partners to advance participants toward stable employment and permanent housing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field or commensurate experience.
• Master's degree preferred with supervisory background.
• CWDP certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepares participants for employment entry, re-entry, and promotion.
• Administers OSS program including transportation and supervision.
• Delivers job-readiness instruction via workshops and 1:1 sessions.
• Conducts intakes, skills assessments, and plans from Career Scope tools.
• Maintains case data in HMIS and coordinates with housing case managers.
• Provides resume writing, job applications, and interview coaching.
