Job summary

Cheer Home Care is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide compassionate, non‑medical home care for the elderly and disabled in La Jolla, San Diego North County. You will offer companionship, personal care, homemaking and transportation services to help clients live safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transport to appointments, and supporting clients with various conditions. A positive, organized communicator with a caring attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Provide non-medical home care services including companionship and ADLs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain client dignity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, meal prep).
• Provide transportation to medical appointments as needed.
• Support dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, hospice care as required.
• Provide hourly or overnight care as scheduled.
• Assist with light housekeeping and home organization.
