Job summary

Cheer Home Care is actively hiring a caregiver in La Jolla, CA to provide compassionate non-medical home care for the elderly and disabled. You will focus on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients live safely and comfortably at home.

Your day may include assisting with ADLs, transporting clients to appointments, and supporting various care needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's care. A flexible schedule is available with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Ability to drive clients and run errands; mileage reimbursement may apply.
• Certifications such as CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate non-medical home care including companionship and personal care.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, meal prep, and hygiene.
• Offer transportation to medical appointments and errands.
• Support dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's care as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and organizational tasks.
