Job summary

Cheer Home Care is actively seeking caregivers to provide compassionate non-medical home care in the San Diego area. You will offer companionship, personal care, transportation, and homemaking to elderly and disabled clients, with a focus on preserving independence and comfort at home.

The role involves ADLs, light housekeeping, and transport to appointments, with bilingual Spanish preference and mileage reimbursement for driving clients in their own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid and AED preferred but not required.
• Ability to drive client in own vehicle with mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and light meal prep.
• Transport clients to medical appointments.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's and hospice support as needed.
• Light housekeeping and organization.
