Job summary

Cheer Home Care, LLC is actively hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical home care to the elderly and disabled in San Diego North County. You’ll perform companionship, personal care, homemaking, transportation, and supportive services designed to help clients live safely and contentedly at home.

Typical duties include ADLs assistance, light meal prep, medication reminders, and driving clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Experience in elder care is helpful but not required.
• Certifications that are preferred: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED (not mandatory).
• Requires: ability to drive client in their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement).
• Cell phone with internet access for communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services to elderly and disabled clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, grooming) and light meal prep.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
• Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, hospice care, and other conditions as appropriate.
