Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant in Houston, TX to guide customers through floor plans, options, and the construction timeline. You will help buyers visualize homes, demonstrate features, and set appointments to drive sales in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in English/Spanish, with 6+ months of sales experience, strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. This full-time role requires weekend availability and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify floor plans and options and coordinate the construction process.
• Present display homes and demonstrate features and benefits to create added value.
• Set home center visits by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up via the company’s CRM system.
• Assist manager with inventory selection, model decoration and model appearance.
