Job summary

Access to Healthcare Network in Reno, NV is seeking a bilingual HIV Benefits Coordinator to help clients enroll in health insurance plans and related services, including premium payments and cost-sharing assistance. You will ensure compliance and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires Spanish/English fluency, solid organizational skills, and experience with medical billing or patient coordination.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required and proficient in communicating with clients and partners.
• HS diploma or equivalent; AA preferred.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare, social services, or patient services; billing/benefits experience preferred.
• 1 year of general office experience including data entry and customer service.
• 2+ years using databases and software including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with enrollment in health insurance plans and related services.
• Process insurance premium payments and cost-sharing assistance.
• Educate program participants on eligibility, benefits, and services.
• Maintain accurate records and protect PHI per HIPAA requirements.
• Coordinate with providers and funding agencies to support program goals.
