Job summary

The Catholic Community Foundation of the Diocese of Richmond is seeking a Coordinator for Hispanic Stewardship to support parish-based stewardship, discipleship, and fundraising efforts within Hispanic communities.

This full-time role reports to the Parish Fundraising and Stewardship Officer – Hispanic Communities and involves coordinating events, materials, and bilingual communications to parishes and ministry leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in parish ministry, nonprofit work, or development support.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to engage effectively with Hispanic communities and adapt messaging.
• Experience coordinating events, programs, and parish initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Background in Catholic Church and nonprofit settings preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally in a full-time role.
• Evening/weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of parish-based stewardship and discipleship initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics and provide on-site support for parish visits and events.
• Maintain regular communication with parish staff and ministry leaders.
• Assist with development and coordination of parish-based teams or committees.
• Support bilingual communications strategies in Spanish and English.
• Ensure timely, pastorally sensitive communication with parishes and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clergy, parish staff, volunteers, and community leaders.
• Identify, engage, and follow up with parish leaders and volunteers.
• Manage calendars, meetings, and logistics for trainings and gatherings.
• Maintain records and gather feedback for evaluation and improvement.
