Job summary

Syntech is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide basic technical support for FuelMaster software and hardware. The role involves installing, configuring, and instructing customers and distributors, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

You will diagnose issues, document steps in CRM, and assist staff as needed. Ideal candidates hold an AA/technical IT training, have strong writing and analytical skills, and are willing to be on call or work various shifts.

Qualifications

AA degree or technical IT training; relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
3–5 years of tenure with prior employers preferred.
Knowledge of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a results focus.
Willingness to be on call and/or work shifts when necessary.
Experience in Systems Administration, SQL servers, or network communication is desirable.

Responsibilities

Consults with customers on the telephone providing support for FuelMaster software and hardware.
Troubleshoots and assists users with software and hardware questions.
Performs diagnostic tests to ensure integrity of FuelMaster setups.
Provides telephone support for peripheral devices and FuelMaster system components.
Follows up on open calls to verify resolution of customer problems.
Documents actions and troubleshooting steps in CRM software.
Assists both technical and non-technical personnel to resolve customer requests.
