Optum in the United States is hiring a Customer Service Representative to provide telephonic support to patients, customers, and providers. You will handle calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and update records, using multiple systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role requires English and Spanish proficiency, 1+ year of service experience, and strong communication and computer skills.

• 1+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to learn and navigate complex computer systems.
• Commit to a 40-hour workweek; 24/7 operational environment possible with overtime.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to identify patient needs and provide support.
• Schedule, reschedule, confirm, and cancel patient appointments.
• Enter and update patient information accurately in scheduling system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and identify payer sources.
