Job summary

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registration/Scheduler to provide high-quality customer service as the main call center contact. You will interview patients, complete insurance documents, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient transportation when needed.

Your role includes documenting demographics, supporting providers, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Typing speed around 45 words per minute.
• Proficient with computers, word processing, and databases.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/privacy practices and insurance basics.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to complete documents such as insurance forms.
• Compile and record medical charts and correspondence using a computer.
• Schedule and confirm health center appointments.
• Track no-shows and communicate with providers and patients.
• Answer calls and direct to appropriate staff; assist via phone, email, or in person.
• Assist in gathering patient documents and arranging transportation when needed.
• Ensure patient demographics and UDS requirements are up to date.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and outreach activities.
