Job summary

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) is seeking a Registration/Scheduler to deliver high-quality customer service as the main call center contact. You will interview patients, collect documents, and schedule appointments, ensuring accuracy in demographics and records.

The role requires English/Spanish bilingual ability, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong data entry with HIPAA awareness. You’ll support patient access, transportation coordination, and adhere to privacy practices.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to help ill, anxious, or distraught patients
• Bilingual English and Spanish required
• Familiarity with HIPAA/Privacy practices and compliance
• Basic data entry skills; typing at least 45 words per minute
• Knowledge of insurance plans and scheduling workflows

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to complete all necessary documents and forms
• Schedule and confirm health center appointments
• Track no-shows and communicate with staff and patients
• Input and transmit patient information and records using computer systems
• Assist patients via phone, email, or in person and direct calls as needed
• Support transportation coordination and access to care
• Attend meetings and training as required
• Maintain up-to-date demographics and HIPAA-compliant documentation
