Job summary

Wesley Health Centers - JWCH Institute, Inc. is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to conduct health education and outreach at Crocker Care Campus and harm reduction sites in Downtown Los Angeles.

The role emphasizes bilingual outreach, enrollment support, and guiding applicants through Medi-Cal and related programs. The ideal candidate will have healthcare outreach experience, a compassionate demeanor, and strong communication skills to promote access to prenatal and general healthcare services

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in health care outreach and enrollment.
• Bilingual Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Possess a current valid California Driver License and Insurance Certificate.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Caring and compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group and individual outreach to educate community members about JWCH's clinical services and programs.
• Perform outreach in clinics, shelters, harm reduction sites, health fairs, and community organizations to inform about Medi-Cal and other programs.
• Provide assistance to applicants through enrollment processes and follow-up to confirm coverage activation.
• Assist enrollment challenges by advocating and addressing access barriers.
• Plan and facilitate outreach activities, trainings, and informational sessions.
