Job summary

Innovative Network of Knowledge (INK) seeks a dedicated staff member to support preschool education and family engagement. You will help implement curricula, monitor child progress, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom aligned with program standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CDA or equivalent credential, and enrollment in a degree program. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred; some travel and flexible hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and CDA or CDA-equivalent credential, or enrollment in a CDA-compliant program within two years of hire.
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Prefer two years of preschool classroom experience and bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Protect the health and safety of children and ensure no child is left alone or unsupervised.
• Assist with responsive care, effective teaching, and an organized learning environment.
• Support curricula implementation to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and ongoing evaluation of child development.
• Support parent involvement through conferences, home visits, and group activities.
• Follow practices to maintain safe classroom and report incidents per policy.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with program standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Bilingual (Spanish)
