Job summary

Innovative Network of Knowledge (INK) seeks entry-level education staff to support Head Start programs. The role emphasizes safety, learning environment support, and family engagement in a community-focused educational nonprofit.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED, and a CDA credential (to be earned if not already held). Bilingual Spanish abilities are preferred to assist diverse families and children.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDA credential required; CDA certificate to be obtained within 6 months; if mixed classrooms, both CDAs required.
• Previous early childcare experience is preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain child safety and supervise children at all times.
• Assist with an organized learning environment aligned with Head Start outcomes.
• Support curriculum implementation across language, literacy, math, science, and arts.
• Support screenings, assessments, and ongoing development tracking.
• Engage families through conferences, home visits, and group activities.
• Follow safety policies and maintain confidentiality.
