Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New Mexico. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, customer service, and store operations, while leading the team in daily shifts and service excellence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged. Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, recruiting support, and ensuring efficient order processing and returns. This role emphasizes growth within a promote-from-within culture.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure compliance with programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Help ensure the sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team member goals, coaching, and training updates.
• Assist in recruiting tasks and interviewing to hire qualified team members.
• Ensure calls are answered per policy and orders are processed timely.
• Coordinate buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders, and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds issued correctly.
