National Vision is seeking a friendly Receptionist for an America's Best store in Bolingbrook, IL. You will greet customers, maintain patient records, answer phones, schedule appointments, and keep the front desk organized.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required or preferred.
• Experience as Receptionist/Front Office or similar role preferred but not required.
• 0-2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Strong organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high quality customer service while following all safety protocols.
• Ensures a smooth flow of customers through the store.
• Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls per protocol.
• Processes and understands managed care plans while obtaining information from insurers.
• Provides customers basic and accurate information.
• Schedules and confirms appointments, follow-up visits and classes.
• Files patient records daily and retrieves for next-day appointments.
• Checks order status and notifies customers of delays.
• Keeps reception area tidy with necessary materials.
• Receives, sorts, distributes mail/deliveries and maintains office supplies.
• Participates in regular mandatory communication meetings.
