Job summary

Coastal Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a friendly, bilingual Front Desk/Patient Services Representative to join our Primary Care team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, and organized, and enjoys helping patients in a fast-paced medical office.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required. You will greet patients, check in/out, verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, collect copays, and support referrals, medical records, and HIPAA privacy.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Medical front desk experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions.
• Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish.
• Collect copays, balances, and other applicable payments.
• Obtain and update patient information.
• Assist with referrals, medical records, and other administrative duties.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
• Work closely with clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
