Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Front Desk Assistant to warmly greet patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information. You will create new patient charts, handle opening procedures, co-pays, and inform patients about costs while supporting front desk and phone coverage.

The role requires being fluent in English and Spanish, with 1-2 years in a healthcare setting, and knowledge of clinic policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a timely and friendly manner.
• Maintain demographic and insurance information in the system and charts.
• Create new patient charts and manage opening procedures.
• Process co-pays and insurance information; assist patients as needed.
• Inform patients of costs for care provided.
• Support front desk and phones; back up other staff as needed.
• Process, track, and coordinate medical records requests in HIPAA-compliant manner.
