Job summary

One Hope United seeks a Billingual Foster Care Case Manager to support diverse families in Romeoville, IL. You will coordinate services, conduct home visits, and collaborate with DCFS, providers, and courts to ensure child safety and permanency.

You will manage case plans, participate in trainings, and help families access resources such as housing, transportation, and therapy. This role requires strong communication and driving capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Field or Related required.
• CWEL, CANS, CERAP preferred.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must pass DCFS background checks and related screenings.
• Be able to multi-task and work under pressure; on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a conduit of information between all parties to the case and identified stakeholders, including medical, educational and mental health providers.
• Conduct visits with children, parents and/or caregivers to assess safety, permanency, and well-being.
• Develop and implement a plan that meets the needs of the children and the family.
• Facilitate placement and delivery of services in collaboration with biological, foster and adoptive families.
• Perform case management responsibilities in accordance with state and federal laws, codes and procedures, within required timeframes.
• Attend court hearings, prepare and file all court documents on time.
