Job summary

Cornerstones is seeking a Program Coordinator for ASAPP in Reston, VA. You will support food delivery, distribution, intake assessments, and educational activities while providing direct service to participants.

Qualifications include a BA in a human services field or 3 years in relevant work, bilingual English/Spanish, and ServSafe certification. Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable human services field or commensurate experience.
• Three years experience in human relations or customer service.
• Current ServSafe Food Handler Certificate.
• Verbal and written proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite or related software.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Advanced skills in food security and nutrition.
• Effective verbal and written communication with staff, participants, volunteers.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food delivery and distribution programs for ASAPP.
• Assist participants directly, individually and in groups.
• Provide administrative support and assist with holiday/giving programs.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• Maintain case data, reports, and outcomes with Arial systems.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as required.
