Job summary

Compass United is seeking a dedicated professional to support safety visits, crisis intervention, and case management for families across the United States. The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful engagement while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service delivery.

You will work in a community-based environment with significant travel, collaboration with immigration stakeholders, and coordination of referrals and documentation to support safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited program (social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field)
• Graduate degree preferred in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years of related experience including crisis intervention and case management
• Experience with immigrant populations and child welfare preferred
• Certifications include Integrated Case Management, First Aid, CPR, Emergency Behavior Management

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to the position
• Maintain a caseload per agency policies and licensing/contract standards
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and professional development activities
• Maintain a minimum number of weekly contacts with children and families
• Provide feedback and support to crisis line staff to ensure appropriate crisis response and follow-up
