Job summary

Compass United is hiring for the Safety Verification Initiative, deploying professionals nationwide to support families and protect child safety. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (social work or related) and 3+ years of crisis intervention experience, with bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Expect 75% travel, M-F schedule, and field-based work in community settings. Certifications in case management and safety practices are preferred, with comprehensive employer-paid benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program, preferably in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field.
• Graduate degree strongly preferred.
• Commitment to safety, dignity and well-being of children and families.

Responsibilities

• Meet federal and state guidelines and agency standards.
• Maintain a caseload per policies, licensing, and contracts.
• Participate in weekly case staffing and supervision.
• Travel up to 75% and conduct field-based casework.
• Document progress and coordinate referrals for assigned caseload.
