Job summary

Compass United is seeking dedicated professionals to join its Safety Verification Initiative across the United States. You will conduct in-person safety visits, support vulnerable families, and help ensure child well‑being with professionalism, compassion, and cultural awareness.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, 3 years of crisis intervention and case management experience, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or undergraduate degree from an accredited program, preferably in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field.
• Strongly preferred - Graduate degree from accredited program/university.
• Three (3) years of related experience including crisis intervention and case management.
• Experience working with immigrant populations and child welfare preferred.
• Certifications: Integrated Case Management, First Aid CPR, Emergency Behavior Management.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines applicable to this position.
• Maintain a caseload in accordance with agency policies and licensing and contract standards.
• Participate in weekly case staffing with case managers, case aides and contracted staff in the assigned region.
• Travel up to 75% of work week; work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Coordinate referrals, service planning and documentation of services for assigned caseload.
