Job summary

Grainger is seeking an Account Manager in Puerto Rico for a hybrid role that blends field sales with administrative support. You will lead relationships, drive growth, and manage accounts to achieve sales, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.

The position requires 3+ years of B2B sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and fluent English and Spanish. You will spend approximately 80% in the field and 20% in administrative activities while leveraging Grainger’s solutions to increase account

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience (MRO, industrial, safety, or distribution preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management tools.
• Fluent bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand relationships across all levels within assigned accounts.
• Maintain a disciplined call plan, dedicating ~80% of time in the field and ~20% on administrative activities.
• Owns and consistently delivers against sales, margin, and growth targets for assigned accounts.
• Drive profitable growth by identifying account potential, prioritizing opportunities, and developing and executing structured account plans.
• Manage and track pipeline, activities, and performance using CRM and other sales enablement tools.
• Identify, engage, and leverage internal and external resources to maximize opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expand adoption of Grainger value-added solutions to increase share of wallet.
• Maintain full ownership of the customer relationship, including issue resolution and escalation.
