Job summary

La Frontera EMPACT - Suicide Prevention Center seeks a Child/Family Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy within our Tempe or Glendale locations. You will work with children, youth and adults, delivering direct clinical services and maintaining client records per agency policies.

Evening and weekend hours may be required to accommodate families. Qualified candidates hold a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field, AZ licensure preferred, bilingual Spanish a plus, and a

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s Degree in behavioral health field.
• Licensure through AzBBHE and/or work experience preferred.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and systems of care preferred.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred.
• Must have Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years.
• Must have regular access to reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and family counseling.
• Perform clinical liaison duties for assigned clients.
• Maintain client records per agency policies, including intake, risk assessments, diagnosis, and progress notes.
• Attend meetings and trainings; may include evenings and weekends to accommodate families.
