Job summary

EMPACT- Suicide Prevention Center, part of the La Frontera family, is seeking therapists to provide direct clinical services in Apache Junction, AZ. You will deliver individual, family, and group therapy for youth and adults, with a focus on crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in the related field and licensure eligibility; bilingual Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, and occasional evenings/weekends to fit

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Licensure preferred but not required: Must be eligible for licensure.
• Experience with GMHSA, SMI and children services preferred.
• Knowledge of best practice therapeutic approaches.
• Must be organized, trauma-informed, and able to individualize treatment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and family counseling.
• Provide clinical liaison duties for assigned clients.
• Ensure quality service delivery and maintain client records per agency policies.
• Conduct intake, risk assessments, diagnosis, service planning, progress notes, discharge planning, termination documentation, and inter-agency reports.
• Attend meetings and trainings as requested.
• Work a 40-hour week; evenings and weekends may be required to accommodate families.
