Job summary

Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee facilities operations, fleet management, and related maintenance at our Watsonville location. The role includes coordinating preventive maintenance, supervising janitorial staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or 2+ years in facilities operations, experience with vendor management, and a working knowledge of CARB/DMV vehicle

Qualifications

Associates degree or minimum two years of experience in facilities operations.
Experience in coordinating preventive maintenance programs.
Experience in troubleshooting general warehouse equipment.
Previous experience in vendor relationship management.

Responsibilities

Ensure the overall efficient function of the facilities operation, vehicle fleet, and equipment.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, mechanicals, grounds, fleet, and equipment; including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems and related assets.
Register all vehicles with CARB and DMV.
Work with Facilities & Safety Director to create and manage the facilities and fleet budget.
