Job summary

The Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium (ICCLOS) is seeking an Event Labor Supervisor for 2nd shift, Swing-Bilingual Preferred. This role supervises labor in the Install and Dismantling department and may assist with English/Spanish translation.

You will schedule labor for trade shows, coordinate staffing, and build strong relationships with clients to ensure excellent service while adapting to event needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multi-task and work under stressful conditions.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Must have previous supervisor experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Able to work varying schedules based on event needs.

Responsibilities

• Work daily with supervisors/decorators to establish staffing needs and communicate those needs to union and other labor sources.
• Schedule and coordinate labor for various trade shows for the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium
• Building and cultivating relationships with trade show clients to ensure best service possible
• Learn and operate event management software systems to complete billing and other functions
• Utilize communication skills to ensure proper flow of workday
• Be a bilingual liaison between our clients and our contractual laborers.
• Suggestions and recommendations for ongoing improvements within the departments
• Make recommendations related to hiring, firing or other changes in employee status
